Welcome to our FAQ page where we have answered all of the common questions we are asked.

 

1. Do you ship worldwide?

Yes - we supply our boxes and other shop items to most other countried around the world. 

Please just make sure that you choose the correct currency before you checkout (top right of the website for desktops or via the menu section on a mobile).

 

2. What payment methods can I use?

When you subscribe you can choose from various payment options including PayPal and all major credit / debit cards.

 

3. What if my payment fails?

Our systems will auto try up to 4 times to collect your payment.  We send out a payment failure email notice you each time.  If after 4 attempts we have still not collected your payment your Subscription will be auto cancelled and this means no more payment attempts will be made but also you will not recieve any more boxes.  Please contact us if this happens to you.

 

4. What day of the month will my payment be taken?

Your payment processing date will be set by the date you subscribe

So for example, if you subscribed on the 5th of the month, your payments will alwsys be taken on the 5th of each month.   We recomend NOT to subscribe on the 15th or 16th of the month as the 15th and 16th are our processing and shipping days (normally).

However, we can move this date to a more suitable date of your choice like the end of the month or the start of the month (which is actually better for us as well).  Please contact us if this is somthing you would like us to do for you.

 

5. Will I have to pay any VAT or custom charges for my box?

Maybe - Our prices include all UK VAT and shipping costs for us to send from the UK. 

If you live outside the UK or are having your box delivered to a non UK address you may occasionally be subject to customs fees, import duties, or VAT. While this is rare, it can happen and is outside of our control.

 

6. Will my Witchbox be packaged discreetly?

Yes - Your magickal box will be packaged in a plain discreet carboard box with only a small Witchbox logo sticker (without our name) and a fragile sticker.  It is only once your Witchbox is opened that the magickal secrets are revealed. 

 

7. When will I receive my Witchbox?

  • Each Witchbox is shipped on the 16th of the month (+/- 2  working days depending when the 16th of the month falls and other factors from time to time) and our monthly cut of date for orders and payment for thats month's subscription box is shown at the top of the website.
  • Witchboxes are shipped using Royal Mail services to most locations but we may use other providers for certian countries and you will receive an email confirmation with tracking codes when the boxes are disspachted.
  • As of the 15th of September 2025 All boxes to all countired we supply to are shipped tracked, allowing both you and us to see where your parcel is.
  • EU boxes are expected to arrive within 1-2 weeks after shipping, but can arrive faster. Please note our costs do not include non UK VAT and you may have pay this on box arrival. 
  • Rest of the world boxes can take up to 2-4 weeks, although we typically expect them to arrive with 2 or 3 weeks. 

 

8. Will I have to re-subscribe every month?

No - you only have to sign up once. After this a monthly payment will be taken automatically via your chosen payment method on the date that you signed up. 

Note that it is possible to move the payment date to another date that matches your required out goings.  Please contact us if you would like to change this date.

 

9. Can I buy just one box to try it out?

Yes - you can and you have a few choices.  Most customers sign up with our subscription service and then once the first payment has been taken (which secures the next box to leave) you can pause your subscription (via your on-line account created at the time you subscribe) meaning no more payments or boxes will be processed. 

You also have the option of visiting our Shop section and buying one of our one off boxes.

 

10. Can I buy all the past Subscription boxes that I might have missed?

Maybe - Sometimes we might have a small number of our monthly subscription boxes left and if this is the case will add to our shop section but once they are gone we are sorry but thats it - gone for good.  However sometimes some of the individual items from pastboxes will appear in our shop section ready for you to claim.

12. How do I cancel or pause my Witchbox subscription?

Your subscription is completely within your control and via your Witchbox on-line account you can cancel, pause or skip whenever you want.

There is no minimum order or penalty for pausing or cancelling your subscription. If you have any issues with doing either of these please get in contact and we can make these changes for you.

Pausing My Subscriptions

When a subscription is paused you will not be billed, and no new orders will be generated or fulfilled during the paused period. This means that payments cannot be processed for paused subscriptions until the subscription is un-paused (made active again). 

Cancelling my Subscription

If you choose to complete cancel your subscription (again this is possible via your on-line account) this means your account will be closed and if you wanted to receive future subscription boxes, you would need to start a brand-new subscription.

Important Note

Please remember, that if you pause or cancel on the same day that your normal monthly payment is due, it is likely that the payment will still be taken due to the time the payments are set for processing and then actually taken (normally just after midnight on your normal payment date). 

Therefore, please pause or cancel your subscription a minimum of two days before your normal payment due date. 

If you do try and stop your next subscription box (either via a pause or cancel request) and its passed your payment date, please make contact with us a.s.a.p. and we will help you resolve this issue as long as the box has not already been shipped.

13. How can I change / update my delivery address

Yes - We have created a complete guide for how to access and use your Witchbox on-line account.

Via your Witchbox account you can gain access to your address details and make chages as required. 

IMPORTANT NOTE - If you change your delivery address AFTER your payment has been processed for a given months subscription box, the address that will have been stored against the shipping label will be the one BEFORE you updated it. 

Therefore, please make changes to your delivery address before your payment processing date if possible which can be seen within your Witchbox account. 

In order to help us make sure that your delivery arrives at your requested location when you make a change please also drop us a message via our contact form to let us know together with the new delivery address so we can check and make any changes required.

Address changes should be updated and notificed to us before the cut off date for the given month as after this date your mailing label will have already been processed and submitted to the shipping providers we use, making it almost impossible to change it before that month’s box is sent out.

Where this happens, and your box is sent to the wrong delivery address it is the subscriber’s responsibility to contact their local postal sorting office and have it re delivered to their new address.  Witchbox is not liable for any extra costs incured as a result of this.


14. Can I pay using Paypal?

Yes - you can pay with Paypal along with various other payment methods for any of our products or subscriptions.  

 

15. What will be in be in my Witchbox?

Your Witchbox will be themed around a new witchy topic each month and will contain at least 8 + 10 magikcal items!  We can't tell you what's inside as that will spoil the surprise but we do reveal each box around the 6th of the month following the offical shipment date.

16. What should I do if I have an issue with or a faulty item within my box

Contact us - If you should experiance any issues or faults with any items within your Subscription Box please click here and let us have the details as soon as possible.  We will follow the procedures are detailed on the "How to report an issue or fault" page.

 

17. Do I need to be an experienced Witch to subscribe?

No - each Witchbox is created to be suitable for both experienced practitioners and beginner Witches. Your Witchbox will include information written by our resident English witch to guide you through each item in your box. If you would like more information about an item in your box check out our blogs or get in contact and we would be more than happy to help. 

 

18. Is Witchbox suitable for all genders?

Yes - Witchbox welcomes all regardless of gender identity. Our boxes do often contain jewellery items but we believe witches of all genders would be able to enjoy these items made by us. 

 

18. What should I do if my box has or does not arrive?

When we ship your box you will be sent an email advising that it has been passed to the postal services we use.  Depending on where you live it will take different amounts of time to reach you.  From September all boxes are sent tracked so you should be able to find it's location using those tracking services.  However, if after 3-4 weeks for EU and ROW you have still not received your box please contact us and we will do what we can to help.
