The vine Celtic moon is a great time to harvest grape and other mixes of fruits that are used to make wine. Vines that bear fruit include grapes, kiwis and tomatoes. Grape vines became a symbol of sacred knowledge and the grapes used to make wine allowed the person who consumed the wine to speak the truth, as they know it.

The vine moon is also where autumn equinox falls. Mabon, the 2019 autumn equinox will fall on Monday 23rd September.
